Bottled Water and Some of the very chemicals added to water to guard your health -especially chlorine and fluoride-may be doing more harm than good.

via nofluoride.com

Choose the bottled water labeled as fluoride low content of 0.2 ppm or less.

chlorine
Chlorine is added to drinking water to keep it bacteria- free. But it also reacts with organic material creating chloroform, trihalomethanes (THMs) and other chlorination disinfection byproducts (CBPs) and these are an strongly linked with cancer.

>>
this was discovered to be a problem with chlorinated public pools also - chlorine is OK, but it reacts with biological residues in the water, and resulting sustances are carcinogenic.
In 1992, the American Medical Association published statistics showing nearly 28 percent of all cancers of the intestines and 18 percent of all cancers of the bladder can be traced to chlorinated water. More than a dozen subsequent studies confirm this finding.

The EPA agency has ordered cities and towns across the United States to start reducing levels of this compound in drinking water- but chlorination will continue, even though water also can be disinfected with ultraviolet light or ozone without creating CBPs.

Ozone is used in some European cities-Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Munich and others-but chlorination continues to be the norm on this continent.

fluoride
Fluoride is added to 60 percent of US and 40 percent of Canadian tap water to reduce tooth decay. However, scientists say that actually swallowing this toxin offers virtually no dental advantage.

"You may as well swish with fluoridated tap water and spit it out. That's how it works," topically - on contact

one view:
"Fluoride causes more cancer, and causes it faster, than any other chemical." Fluoride is further linked to osteoporosis, hip frachlre, memory and neurological impairment and kidney disorders.

Here's a sampling of bottled water brands that are fluoride-free:

Apani Purifie ** Aqua Panna ** Arrowhead ** Calistoga Spring ** Crystal Geyser ** Deer Park North ** Deer Park South ** Great Bear ** Hinkley & Schmidt ** Ice Mountain Keeper Springs ** Loon Country Natural Spring ** NARA International Himalayan Spring Ozarka ** Penta ** Poland Spring Snow Valley Mountain ** Sparkletts

16% US males will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. 12% women with breast cancer. Reasons? Experts Do NOT Recommend Prostate Cancer Screening

Reasons? bad food and "environment pollution"

prostate cancer, primarily as a result of poor diet and increasing environmental pollution.

>>remark
Reasons for cancers spreading is unchecked corporate quest for more and bigger profits, above everything, people, health, earth, environment.

PROFITS NOW. Even if it meant to deindustrialise and destroy America itself - ruling class is based elsewhere.

Most cases of prostate cancer do not occur until after men turn 50, but in recent years there has been a steady rise in the percentage of men in their 30s and 40s with both prostate problems and prostate cancer.

investigations over the years have discovered serious flaws with the PSA test used to diagnose prostate cancer.

Researchers are also questioning the conventional treatments of prostate cancer, which include surgical removal of the prostate gland and radiotherapy, as they may not be necessary for most men.

Biggest earthquake in Oklahoma history highlights unexplained increase in seismic activity, here and Arkansas. Fracking?

via washingtonpost.com

There are 181 fracking injection wells in the Oklahoma county where most of the weekend earthquakes happened,

Oklahoma typically had about 50 earthquakes a year until 2009. Then the number spiked, and 1,047 quakes shook the state in 2010.

Scientists say they have no explanation for the quakes.

They happened along an ancient fault, although it’s not clear yet whether shifting along the fault is what caused them,

Arkansas also has seen a big increase in earthquake activity, which residents have blamed on injection wells.

Natural gas companies engaged in hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, use fluid to break apart shale and rock to release natural gas.
Injection wells then dispose of the fluid by injecting it back into the ground.

There are 181 injection wells in the Oklahoma county where most of the weekend earthquakes happened,

Lately, there also was highly unusual earthquake in Colorado and East coast.

Shocking Truth About Pringles "Potato" Chips: carcinogen acrylamid. Also in French Fries, roasted, fried potatoes, sodas, doughnuts. Avoid.

Media_httpmediamercol_efnuo

The federal limit for acrylamide in drinking water is 0.5 parts per billion, or about 0.12 micrograms in an eight-ounce glass of water.

However, a six-ounce serving of French fries can contain 60 micrograms of acrylamide, or about FIVE HUNDRED times over the allowable limit.

Similarly, potato chips are notoriously high in this dangerous chemical. So high, in fact, that in 2005 the state of California actually sued potato chip makers for failing to warn California consumers about the health risks of acrylamide in their products.

Beware: Baked Chips May Be WORSE than Fried!

Acrylamide is Not the Only Danger
Acrylamide is not the only dangerous genotoxic compound formed when food is heated to high temperatures.

By the end of 2011, about half of Pepsi's Frito-Lay brand snacks will be reformulated with all-natural ingredients.

~~~~~ AVOID !
•French fries and potato chips
•All sodas (both regular and diet, as artificial sweeteners may be more problematic than fructose)
•Doughnuts
